Promised Victory

Today's Gospel Truth ~  "For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:  Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;"  2 Corinthians 1:8-10

Promised Victory

The Lord God whom we serve has the ability to deliver us from every circumstance regardless of what it may be.  God's simplest thought will astound the highest intelligence of man.  As a loving Father,  God only awaits our invitation for his help so that he may become apart of or provide the solution we need.  At times difficulties in life can be so hard that they can mentally sentence you to a 'death row' mentality feeling like the only thing you can do next is check out of life.  Who ever thought that you would face such a challenging period of life when everything seem  to keep going down hill?  Many of our dear brothers in the Bible faced extreme challenges as they journeyed for Christ, in many cases there were a few of them that  even faced terrible deaths.  Nevertheless, these disciples of Christ kept their trust in God as they activated their faith in emulating him every day because they knew he was a Father that raised the dead, and he would step in to rescue them  from  certain doom.

The reason why you can have victory in every area of your life is because God promised you victory, not defeat.   God knows about everyday you will live before you live it.  "Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day."  Psalms 139:16  God has designed his plans for you.  "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." Jeremiah 29:11 God has also given you the power to change atmospheres, paralyze the enemy and destroy him.  "Behold , I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."  Luke 10:19

Even in the midst of your prison experience lift up a faith shout of praise as you thank God for what he has already done to deliver you from certain doom.  **AMEN**

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, Whatsoever I have said unto you."—John 14:26.

"Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah."  Psalms 32:7

"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered : for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said , and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call."  Joel 2:32
