The Assignment Was Designed For You To Accomplish

Today's Gospel Truth ~  "And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying , Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name."  1 Kings 5:5

The prophecy was given by the Prophet Nathan to David before his son  Solomon was even born that God will use his seed to build a house of worship for him.  Here we can see that before Solomon was birthed he had a very special calling on his life,  and being chosen to do this special work, in scripture Solomon foreshadowed the Messiah.  (see Zechariah 6:12-13)

 

After David died Solomon received the throne and he immediately set out to complete his father's heart's desire,  which David his father wasn't able to begin while he was alive because of the constant battles he dealt with from nations around him.  Hiram a dear friend of David upon hearing of the wonderful news of Solomon's new position sent a letter congratulating him on his position as the new king over Judah.  Solomon in return sent word to Hiram of appreciation and requesting his assistance for his new project of  building the temple which  Hiram was happy to comply to Solomon's request and thus supplied all that he needed.

 

The assignment God has placed upon your life has already been thought out and designed for you to accomplish just as Solomon did with building the house for God.   Solomon knew that he was responsible to complete the assignment that was given to him and he worked skillfully to do so.    As we noted even though the ultimate plan was for  the House of God to be built, it received opposition from battles constantly going on which deterred David from being able to proceed with this desire, but in time the prophecy came to pass.  The opposition you face from struggles do not carry the keys to lock your prophecy  away from you.  God took away the constant  hindrances of his word coming to pass by silencing all the enemies and the adversary and placing them under  David's feet, therefore, there was no more distractions of this prophetic word coming to life.  As we trust God and step out in faith to accomplish the Prophetic Words he has spoken to us he will also silence the adversary and the opposition and place them under our feet and provide an Hiram to comply all you'll need. **AMEN**
