Sunday Morning Experience

Today's Gospel Truth ~  "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him."  Matthew 4:10-11

During Jesus' period of temptation he rebuked satan three times.  How many times do you find yourself rebuking the enemy within a day?  After  the third time satan got the message and left Jesus alone.  Immediately after satan departed angles stepped in and took care of Jesus' needs  with teaching and healing which gave him the strength to go on.

Children of God who have made the decision to follow Christ often receive extreme testing of their faith.  When we remain determined to get to the end of the testing trial regardless of the condition we face we too will have the deliverance Jesus experienced.   God is always aware of what we can bear, and we know that if we are allowed to face a situation, he has designed such a well-thought-out plan for our deliverance, we will have the ability to go forth and help others.   Whether one believes in angels or not they were created by God to assist us, they deliver blessings of help, hope, and healing whenever we need them.

When it comes to testing we must remain determined like Jesus in getting to the end of the testing phase, so that we too may experience the breakthrough.   Had Jesus not endured and overcome the temptation process he would not have had that marvelous Sunday Morning Experience, when he arose from the grave with all power.  There is a Sunday Morning Experience that is awaiting  you,  so that you too will be able to let the world know that resurrection took place and delivered you from  hopelessness.  Be strengthened today as you push forth in your time of testing, in the certainty that since Jesus did it you can do it too.  After all, Jesus has already given you the power to throw out demons in his name, speak in new tongues, take up snakes with your hands, drink deadly poison and not be hurt, lay hands on the sick and watch them recover, and these are only some of the tools  Jesus has passed on for you to use on your journey.  Press Forth Into Your Sunday Morning Experience … It is There For You! **AMEN**
