The Reason Why He Came

Today's Gospel Truth ~ "And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.  And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,  And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.  For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.  For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name."  Luke 1:45-49

Born in very unusual but very special circumstances he entered the world.  By way of the impartation of the Spirit of Life to the chosen Mary he was conceived in the most unusual way known to man.  As we have read even Joseph, Mary's beau had a very difficult time understanding that she  became pregnant without a man.  God himself previously chose the settings of Jesus' birth and therefore, we understand that at that time there was no room for Joseph and Mary anywhere except the stables because that was his designated birthing place.  As Mary was about to give birth to the Son of the King of Kings, God could of created a birthing place for Jesus in the first or second heaven filled with all the grandeur that Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus would of needed then have him descended into the earth.  But God had specifically  selected a quiet little birthing place of humble beginnings filled with his love and glory to embrace Jesus as he came forth.

Jesus came forth with tremendous responsibilities to:
 1. Save us  so that we may be redeemed back to God.
 2. To deliver us from the plans and intents of the enemy.
 3. To bring us out of tribulation.

Living defeated lives was never the plan God had for his children thus he sent Jesus to not only show us the way of deliverance but as we remain close to him he will walk us out of every trial, difficulty, and impossibility.  As we continue to go through life we will continue to experience the truth behind every challenge which is that they are all breathing grounds for the Glory of God.  As we read in the passage above we note that even Mary the mother of Jesus received the word of the Lord from the angel Gabriel by believing what she heard, thus sent up praises as she magnified the Lord.

As we step into a new year let us go forth excitingly with a bold ability of believing God's word, and joyously praising to graciously receive so that those around us will see and experience the blessings of the Lord.  When God gives his word the soil has to be conditioned to receive it, then we must water the word with our praises so that which was spoken may be performed.  There are times in our lives when we receive a beautiful word from the Lord that is ready for harvest but because we fail to water the word it dries up and withers away.   The word tells us to be careful for nothing but in everything through prayer and praise we must give our concerns to God. Philippians 4:8  Let us remember that the reward of the Lord is over us and as we believe and praise we will receive all that God has promised to us.  **AMEN**
